Learning for all

Learning opportunities at Ipswich Museum will be enhanced as part of the redevelopment project. This will include creating new learning spaces, school sessions, tours, trails and much more to support our local children and wider community to experience the rich history of Ipswich and the world around us.

Our learning team are busy developing new sessions for the museum whilst also adding a new sparkle of life to some old favourites at Christchurch Mansion. We’re pleased to say we also now have ‘on the road’ versions of some of the Museum’s popular workshops where we bring the learning to your school while the Museum is closed. We are keen to involve teachers in the development of the future offer at Ipswich Museum. We hold termly Teacher Advisory Sessions and welcome educators from all phases to these meetings – sign up to the schools newsletter and keep an eye on the Ipswich Museums social media to find out when the next meeting is scheduled.
