There will be lots of opportunities to get involved with the Ipswich Museum redevelopment project throughout the process.
Over the course of the project, there will be opportunities to get hands-on through volunteering. This will include roles around supporting learning programmes and collections management, delivering tours, and helping to collect oral histories, amongst others. Roles will be shared on this page as they become available.

The IMYA is a group of young people aged 14 – 25, who will gain insight into the museum sector and develop new and existing skills to shape their own events. Through regular meetings once a month, they will have the opportunity to collaborate, participate, learn and develop transferable skills, whilst engaging with our collections and professionals in their field. We are still welcoming young people to join, so if you would like to sign up please use use this form to get in touch.
