Museum on the Move strikes again!

Join us on the 6^th February at Geek Retreat anytime from 11am – 3pm to explore the rich history of Ipswich.

Ipswich and its people have a rich history which stretches back thousands of years into prehistoric times. Before the official town of Ipswich existed, humans have travelled to, from and through this area in search of food, shelter, wealth, adventure and happiness. The result of these journeys, both past and present, is a multicultural population with a vibrant story to tell.

You will be able to look at objects found right here in Ipswich, explore and talk to staff about plans and themes for the redeveloped Ipswich Museum and create your own moving landscape based on the William John Leggett paintings of Ipswich in our collections.
